Expert Report

An orthopedic report is a structured assessment of the musculoskeletal system by a specialist. It is prepared to clarify medical issues objectively—usually with legal or insurance implications.
A written report answers the following questions:
What illnesses or injuries are present? How did they arise?
What consequences do they have for resilience, work, and everyday life?
Is there a causal connection (e.g., accident → injury)?
Common reasons: Work-related or commuting accidents (BG, accident insurance fund), private accident insurance, pension or disability issues, severely disabled persons law (GdB), court proceedings (social, civil, criminal court), pension office.
